David Lee is Director of IT Audit and Data Analytics at Cushman & Wakefield, where he leads the build-out of the company’s IT audit function with a focus on cybersecurity, data risk, and emerging technology governance. He brings nearly two decades of experience spanning Big 4 public accounting, financial services, healthcare, and transportation, including roles at KPMG, Abbott, Northern Trust, and United Airlines, and eight years culminating as Chief Audit Officer at Metra. A U.S. Air Force veteran, David holds CPA, CISA, CRISC, and PMP certifications and an MS in Accounting with Data Analytics from the University of Illinois. He has hands-on expertise in AI/ML audit frameworks, cloud security, and data analytics tooling including Python, Databricks, and SQL. David is based in Chicago and is passionate about helping organizations harness emerging technologies while managing the governance and risk implications that come with them.
