John (JT) McFarlin is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience in information security, enterprise risk management, and technology operations. He currently serves as Director of Information Security at Candescent, where he leads enterprise security architecture, vulnerability management, application security integration, and GRC initiatives aligned with regulatory standards. Previously, JT held senior cybersecurity leadership roles at Floor & Decor, Global Payments, HCL America, and Jack Henry & Associates, where he built and led high-performing teams, developed incident response and governance programs, and delivered large-scale security transformations across retail and financial environments. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of West Georgia and maintains CompTIA Security+ certification.
