Prakash is serving Stanley Black & Decker in their Enterprise Architecture & Strategy function as an Enterprise Architect for Data & AI. Currently Prakash is driving thought leadership in various data and ai threads in the organization. Examples being Future state data & analytics architecture, Data quality & Observability solutions, Data Governance methodology and tools for unstructured data in readiness for Co-pilot solutions, enterprise wide language translation solutions, and most importantly in the area of Generative AI, identifying and exploring business use cases across the enterprise where generative AI can offer value. In conjunction, Prakash is evaluating Generative AI solutions such as Azure OpenAI (chatGPT), AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and other niche providers, selecting the most suitable LLM model and platform/tool for our use cases, and helping make decisions on Build v/s Buy options. Prior to SBD, Prakash has been into Business and Data/Analytics Consulting for the last 15+ years, working on challenging assignments for major corporations. He started his career with SAP (www.sap.com) in their custom development group, then moved onto consulting with Infosys Technologies (www.infosys.com), and then at Accenture (www.accenture.com) since 2007 before leaving Accenture in Nov 2022 to take a six-month break before joining SBD. He is based out San Diego, California. At Accenture, Prakash was a Managing Director in Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting – Applied Intelligence helping clients solution & deliver Analytics solutions. Prakash has also led talent, learning and development initiatives at Accenture, fostering consulting development programs for junior and mid level talent, mentored experienced hires and had grown a practice of 150+ professionals.
