Sathiyan Kutty is the Head of AI, Data Science & Engineering for Kaiser Permanente’s $115B health-plan group, leading a high-performing team that delivers predictive models, Generative AI solutions, and scalable cloud-data platforms serving 12 million members. He previously held leadership roles at Tesla (Factory AI), VMware (Customer Analytics), and Intuit (Small-Business Data Products). Over his career, he has launched more than 30 ML products, achieved over $250M in operational cost reductions, and pioneered AI governance frameworks adopted across Kaiser Permanente. Sathiyan holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, mentors through Kaiser’s ALDP program, frequently speaks on responsible AI and healthcare innovation, and advises startups in healthcare and blockchain.
