- What motivates you to attend Kodi Connect events?
Kodi Connect puts me in the room with senior technology leaders wrestling with the same shift I see daily at Stripe: AI moving from pilot to core infrastructure. I show up for the unfiltered conversations about what's actually working in AI adoption and ecosystem partnerships- not the vendor-pitch version.
- What would you tell a first-time attendee makes it worth their time?
Kodi Connect isn't another badge-scan conference - it's a room of people who actually build and buy technology, having the conversation you can't have on a sales call. If you lead partnerships, platform strategy, or AI adoption, that peer exchange beats most keynotes.
- What technology will redefine your industry in the next five years?
Agentic AI combined with modern payment and platform infrastructure. Most enterprises still run on fragmented systems and manual handoffs between commerce, finance, and operations. The winners will let AI agents operate natively across those systems and the technology partnerships that make that interoperability trustworthy will matter as much as the AI itself.
- What does responsible innovation mean to you?
Responsible innovation means building technology that is powerful, useful, secure, and trustworthy. It means innovation should not be separated from privacy, cybersecurity, compliance, ethics, accessibility, and operational resilience. As a technology leader, I see responsible innovation as a design principle. It should influence how we build platforms, select vendors, manage data, deploy AI, and measure outcomes. Responsible innovation allows organizations to move faster because trust is built into the foundation.
- What advice would you give emerging tech leaders today?
My advice to emerging technology leaders is to build strong technical depth, but also learn how to connect technology to business outcomes. Learn AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data, architecture, and engineering practices, but also develop communication, influence, and change leadership skills. The most effective technology leaders are not just technical experts; they are platform thinkers, problem solvers, and business partners who can turn complexity into scalable impact.
Bonus Questions:
- What does “digital resilience” mean to you in today’s tech landscape?
Digital resilience means the ability of an organization to continue operating, adapting, and recovering when technology, security, business, or market conditions change. It is more than uptime or disaster recovery. It includes secure architecture, cloud resilience, data protection, observability, incident response, vendor risk management, and the ability to modernize without disrupting the business. In an AI driven world, digital resilience also means ensuring that intelligent systems are reliable, explainable, monitored, and governed.
- How do you see AI reshaping the role of IT and security teams?
AI is reshaping IT and security teams from system operators into intelligence and resilience enablers. IT teams will increasingly manage AI platforms, data pipelines, integrations, automation workflows, model operations, and digital experience. Security teams will need to address new risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse, AI identity, third party AI tools, and autonomous agent behavior. The future requires IT and cybersecurity to work as one integrated function focused on trust, resilience, governance, and responsible scale.
Kodi Connect Key Takeaways:
- Agentic AI is transforming enterprise technology and digital commerce: The next phase of AI adoption will move beyond pilots toward agentic systems that can operate across commerce, finance, and business platforms. Success will depend on trusted technology partnerships, interoperability, and secure infrastructure that enables AI agents to act at scale.
- Responsible AI innovation requires security, privacy, and resilience by design: Responsible innovation means embedding cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance, ethics, accessibility, and operational resilience into technology from the beginning. Building trust into AI and enterprise platforms can help organizations innovate faster while managing emerging risks.
- The future of IT leadership requires both technical depth and business influence: As AI reshapes IT and cybersecurity, technology leaders must understand AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and architecture while also developing communication, influence, and change-management skills. The strongest leaders will connect complex technology strategies to measurable business outcomes and organizational resilience.
